Artist Film Workshop (AFW) is an artist collective and not-for-profit organisation which provides access to knowledge and resources for filmmakers and artists in Melbourne. AFW holds regular screenings and workshops for people interested in film or working with sound and vision.
AFW is located at 5 Cross St, Brunswick East. We have a darkroom for film processing and a dry lab for editing and post production. The workshop maintains a 16mm contact printer, and optical printer with custom-made electronics, 16mm and 8mm cameras, projectors and a screening space.
